La sansi - organization of races and sporting events
Since 2007, La Sansi has been dedicated to promoting sport and organizing sporting events. We currently manage 16 races in Catalonia, both at a popular and international level, with nearly 55,000 participants per year. We also organize races or training sessions for companies.
La Sansi has been responsible for the technical direction of the Cursa La Mercè in Barcelona for 11 years (16,000 participants are expected in September), and since 2014 for organizing the Cursa dels Nassos in Barcelona (over 13,000 participants are expected on December 31), where in the last 4 years 4 world records in the 5 km, both male and female categories, were set and are still standing, along with the European men’s record.
In 2024, La Sansi presented the European project HOST4ALL, being one of 4 European organizations and the only Spanish one, which the European Commission awarded for implementing a project of major sporting events at a European level.
La Sansi has a database with emails of over 50,000 athletes, in addition to the events themselves.
